News for September 2022

Members of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government and representatives of federal agencies came to Perm to discuss the development of urban agglomerations.

The Mayor of Perm Aleksey Demkin took part in the Forum which was devoted to the 65th anniversary of Soviet-Chinese Friendship Organisation (now - Russian-Chinese Friendship Society).

Souvenir postcards with the sights of Perm gained a high recognition in “Tourist souvenir” competition. The postcards are available at the stalls in airport, hotels and at tourist information centres.

Anticipating the 300-year anniversary of Perm, specialists from Pedagogical University together with pre-school teachers created the new ABC book for children which will help them learn the 300-year long history, traditions and sights of the city in an engaging and interactive way.

Last weekend completed the summer season at the Kama River Embankment. The evening show was visited by over 12,000 people.

Perm Marathon main runs were held on September 4, 2022. The 42.195 km distance leader results were 02:16:19 (men) and 02:38:42 (women). The winners received prizes from the Mayor of Perm Aleksey Demkin.

The educational establishments in Perm held festive events dedicated to the start of the school year, this year the schoolchildren, their parents and teachers participating in traditional ceremonial assemblies.
