“Perm is a very hospitable city. We felt ourselves at home!," says the head of Lithuanian scout delegation Iren Valatkyavichene.

A scout delegation from Lithuania visited Perm on 8-13 March, 2009 within the Youth-to-Youth city project. The guests received a warm welcome from Perm scouts starting with a Meeting of Friends international night followed by a rich cultural program. The guests specially enjoyed the trips to the White Mountain and Perm-36 Museum.

"These trips are a wonderful opportunity for both guests and hosts to explore Perm and its suburbs," says the project coordinator Irina Sidorova. "It is important that Perm citizens know their city and are able to tell foreign visitors about it."

The delegates were staying at homes in Perm, where they experienced Russian family life. "Perm is an incredibly hospitable city. We felt ourselves at home!", says the head of the delegation Iren Valatkyavichene.
