The German Reading Room at Perm Regional Library celebrated its 10th anniversary.
At the official ceremony hosts greeted attendees in Russian and German.

This educational platform opened in Perm on March 1, 2001. Its aim is to provide up-to-date information about Germany and German-speaking countries. The German Reading Room boasts to have an excellent collection of books, journals, newspapers, CDs and DVDs in German. And it is worth noting that all the materials except dictionaries can be borrowed from the library. In 2008, the German Reading Room organized "the Duisburg Corner" where all information about Perm's twin city in Germany is accumulated.

The Reading Hall has become a real cultural centre in the City of Perm where people can learn something new or improve their German-speaking skills.
