Various theatres will present plays during the “Living Perm” festival
An annual festival “Living Perm” will take place in June 2 - 23 as a part of the “White Nights” project in Perm, as reported by the city department of culture and youth policy.
This year the festival is held for the fifth time. During these years it has become one of the most exciting and memorable events in the region’s life. “Living Perm” festival is multiform: it includes exhibitions, concerts, performances and readings. The festival program divides into 5 lines: literature, art, music, theatre and non-format.
“Drama-cross” will take place within the theatre program – it’s the process of creating new and lively texts about Perm and its natives, a form of collective (group) creation. Teams will gather material, write plays and rehearse for three days, and then present it to the audience in the format of readings. A mini-festival “Pipe all hands on deck!” and street-performance “Angels in the city!” will also be presented.
The festival is arranged by the Perm krai ministry of culture, youth policy and media and Perm city department of culture and youth policy.
