International conference in Perm will bring together leading specialists in the field of ecology and environmental management

As stated by the City Department of Ecology and Environmental Management, more than 70 specialists in ecology will take part in an international conference that will take place in Perm on October 16 – 18.

The conference is organized by the Natural resources and Environmental protection Administration and Perm State University. Officials, scientists, businessmen and social workers will take part in discussions.

Several reputed scientists confirmed their participation in the conference. Dmitry Andreev - PhD candidate in Geography, the Head of Ecological and Environmental Laboratory, - will make a report “Physiological conditions of forest timber species in Perm designated conservation areas”.

Representatives of one of the Perm’s leading waste processing companies “Bumatika” will make a report on a timely problem of waste management. The topic of report is “Experience of development and application of computerized system of waste processing”. That’s the first time this kind of systems would be installed in the city, what gives a chance to increase quality and accuracy of ecological report and waste management.

Probably one of the most interesting and unusual reports will be made by the President of Cultural and Natural Heritage Fund “Obninsk Rose” Elena Pleshkova. The title of the report is “Environmentally oriented tourism: perspectives of development”.

Experts from Moscow and Chelyabinsk signed for the conference.

Perm has always been a place for international social and art events: festivals, round tables and conferences. International summit of city and regional planners ISOCARP took place last year in Perm. National conference of electric transport companies happened in Perm in April 2013.
