These were greetings from Perm school children for their peers in the twinned city of Qingdao on the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebration of which is due on February 5, 2019. The children also described the New Year celebrations in Russia and in Perm.

The winners of the 6th open competition of Russia’s Ice and Snow Sculptures Cup “Winter Vernissage” received their prizes at the closing ceremony. The team from Ryazan for the second time won the top prize of the competition and the special prize from the Major of Perm City went to the team from Yakutsk.

The Ice Town under the motto “Wind from the East” was open starting December 30, 2018 untill January 9, 2019. On January 13, 2019 it will become the venue of the 6th open competition “Russia’s Ice and Snow Sculpture Cup” called «Winter Vernissage».

The 6th open competition of Russia’s Ice and Snow Sculptures Cup “Winter Vernissage” will start in Perm on the Sunday of January 13, 2019. The competition brings together 22 sculptors from Chine, Malaysia, Russia and the first timer of the competition – the participants from Singapore.
