Dmitry Samoylov received the delegation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia

The Mayor of Perm Dmitry Samoylov held a meeting with Ms. Gong Jiajia, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia, and Mr. Liu Yang, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia.

The meeting was also attended by Yuri Utkin, Chairman of Perm City Duma,  Sergey Sanakoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, Tatiana Grigorieva, Head of the International Relations Department of Perm City Administration, Lyudmila Sukhanova, Headmistress of  Perm Grammar School No. 2, Mikhail Kamenskikh, Chairman of the Perm Chapter of Russian-Chinese Friendship Society.

In his welcoming speech, Mayor Samoylov noted that Perm is rapidly developing due to implementation of national projects.

“We are ready for the dialogue, I’m sure this will help our countries and cities get closer and get a new impulse for the development of bilateral relations”, said Dmitry Samoylov.

Ms. Gong Jiajia said that such events as the Perm-East Forum help to build harmonious and mutually beneficial relations. The guests shared their impressions of visiting Perm State University, spoke about the priority of developing contacts between regions and provinces of the two countries.
