Perm will host two important sporting events – “Running to the Limit” and Perm International Marathon

“Running to the Limit” - a 3 km obstacle race – will be held on June 26-27, 2021 for everyone over the age of 16.

There will be several participation options and difficulty levels available for participants: mass start, teams, professionals, loving couples, corporate runs and juniors. At the end of the event, participants will enjoy a feast with a food zone, entertainment, a concert and an open-air after-party.

This year the Perm Marathon will take place on September 4-5. Three thousand people have already registered for the Marathon.

Registration is available on the website of the marathon and on the portal умный-спорт.рф. Traditionally, the 3 km distance is the most popular one. Currently, 1,262 people have registered for that distance. The 1 km children's distance is also popular with 452 registered runners.

For the 42.195 km marathon 151 people registered so far, 256 people registered for the 21.1 km half-marathon, 461 people - for the 10 km distance and 416 people - for the 5 km.

Up to 12,000 participants will be able to take part in the event this year.

Reference notes: the First Perm International Marathon was held in 2017 with 5,500 participants. In 2018, 7,200 people took part in that great sporting event. 9,200 runners took part in the event in 2019. For the first time, a separate children's marathon was organised, and 687 children took part, including teams from pre-school sports clubs. In 2020, 7,300 people from 40 regions across the country took part in the event, taking all safety precautions to avoid spread of the coronavirus infection. According to evaluation criterion, i.e. athletes' results, the Perm Marathon is the first Russian marathon that is ranked as an international event by the World Athletics – it gained 8,200 points.
