237 residents of Perm City were awarded a distinction mark “Pride of the Perm Region”

Young people received awards for their achievements in various spheres and top results in international, All-Russian, inter-regional and regional competitions and events. 

Governor of Perm Region Dmitry Makhonin  awarded the absolute winners of annual competition “Pride of the Perm Region” at the Perm Region Government Session. 

The award for talented young people aged 14-21  was established in 2016, and throughout the following 6 years over 3.800  young people from all over the region  received this distinction. 

Traditionally the competition is held in 4 nominations:  «Public activities», «Culture and arts», «Physical culture and sports», «Intellect».  The winners showing top results in each nomination received certificates and cash prizes.  

Perm schoolchildren were awarded by the Vice-Mayor Anatoly Gribanov.  The number of those marked with this award is growing from year to year: from 49 distinctions in 2015 to 237 this year. 

– The number of competition winners is increasing every year. This is a proof of the fact that the efforts put into creating conditions for youth development and success produce good results.  Studies, sports, music, and choreography – all these require a lot of effort.  The city is proud of you. We hope that you will see more successes further in your life and get more distinctions.  However, I would hope that you remember your native city and help us make it a better place to live, – Anatoly Gribanov noted.
