The “Mlada” Perm choir held its first concert in Minsk

The Perm choir “Mlada” directed  by Honoured Artist of Russia Olga Vyguzova  toured  the Republic of Belarus at the invitation of the Belarusian State Philharmonic.

On April 6, the choir  presented to the audience one of its flagship programs – “From folk to jazz” as part of   “the Minsk Spring” 38th festival of music. The traditional spring music forum this year  will continue  from April 1 through May 24 and will be the grand final point  of a series of  festive  events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Belarusian State  Philharmonic.

The “Mlada”  programme entitled “From folk to jazz”  showed the Belarusian public  a wide range of the choir’s diverse creative potential. It  featured classical works and folklore compositions, as well as popular tunes  in jazz style. 

“Mlada“ Choir  from Perm  performed  their  program “From folk to jazz” on the main stages of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Perm. In Minsk, the programme was presented for the first time.

In addition,  on April 5, 2023 Olga Vyguzova , the Honoured  Artist of Russia, director of the choir, held  an open master class for  students of the Minsk State Music College, where she  shared her experience and professional secrets  in working with the choir.
