A virtual exhibition of drawings by schoolchildren from Russia and China opened in Perm on the Child Protection Day
The exhibition is organized as part of developing partnership between cities.
44 e-copies of young artists works from Perm were sent to the institutions of the city of Qingdao.
A joint exhibition of students from Russia and China was opened under the “Perm – Qingdao: Community in Colours” project. School students from Qingdao sent about 40 works for the virtual exhibition. The same number of paintings were presented by pupils of the Kabalevsky Children’s Art School and Central Children’s Art School at the Perm State Institute of Culture. The virtual exhibition can be seen on the websites of the project organizers - the Perm State Institute of Culture and Children’s Art School named after Kabalevsky.
By way of a reminder, the “Perm – Qingdao: Community in Colours” project involves exchange exhibitions in both online and offline formats. Development of partnership relations with China is currently an important strategic task for Russia. Realization of the “Perm – Qingdao: Community in Colours” project will be a bright event in the year of the 300th anniversary of Perm, because children share with each other the perception of the Motherland, imprinted in artistic compositions. Perm has strong ties with the city of Qingdao, Shandong Province. Qingdao is one of the ten most dynamic cities in China. The history of friendship between the cities has been developing for about 20 years now. Over the years, many different projects in the fields of education, culture, sports and ecology have been created and successfully implemented.
