First school «Boiling Point» to open in Perm

The «Boiling Point -school SinTez», the first collective workspace for schoolchildren opened in the chemical-technological school «SinTez» in Perm

8-11 grades schoolchildren and their parents took part in master classes, where they learnt about popular professions, secrets of professional success, learned how to read «consciously» and immersed themselves in project activity. Guests of the event also attended a plenary discussion about the role of the school in the process of creating and implementing a technological project and on what key skills the child acquires when working with new technologies. The event was held with the assistance of the Perm Region Government in cooperation with the organizations «National Technical Initiative Platform», «University 2035», «National Technological Initiative Foundation», Investment Development Agency, Perm Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the participation of leading technological companies of the region and the country.

 – The basic skills of the 21st century is critical thinking, creative activity, ability to interact efficiently and work in a team. This is a brilliant opportunity, first of all, for the school, children, teachers and, of course, social partners, - said Elena Zvegintseva, School Headmaster.

The work of the school «Boiling Point» will be based on the principles of additional education with elements of project activity. To note, the school «Boiling Point» was created as part of the 2022-2024 roadmap for the implementation of the National Technology Initiative in the Perm Region. The «Boiling Point» network is the largest innovative and educational space in the country, covering 164 locations in 90 cities of Russia. The focus of «Boiling Points» covers several spheres, including the development of entrepreneurship, HiTech, the creation of urban, university and school spaces.
