In Perm, more than 150 projects were submitted to the city competition of socially significant projects "We are the city"

61 projects were submitted to the priority nomination "My Project for My City" dedicated to the Year of the Family. This is more than the number of projects submitted to the competition-2023  in the priority nomination. 133 projects were admitted for consideration by the competition committee.

The Perm City  Administration hosted a meeting of the Competition Commission of the XXVI City Contest of Socially Significant Projects "We are the City". The meeting was chaired by Sergey Troshkov, Deputy Head of the Perm Administration, and was also attended by councillors of Perm City Duma, specialists from relevant departments of Perm City Administration, and representatives of non-profit organisations.

We would like to remind you that the main objectives of the competition of socially significant projects "We are the city" are to stimulate and support public initiatives, as well as to develop and implement new social and cultural technologies. Earlier, the Mayor of Perm Eduard Sosnin announced that this year the grant fund of the competition would amount to 25 million roubles.

During the meeting the first  results were announced. A total of 159 projects were submitted to the competition. After their verification 133 projects were accepted for consideration by the competition committee. It should be noted that every year the number of rejected projects with errors in their preparation decreases. Thus, in 2022, 29 % of projects were rejected, in 2023 – 27 %, in 2024 - only 14 %. This indicates an increase in the quality of project preparation.

A total of 155 non-profit organisations took part in the competitiont. These included various foundations, regional and district societies of the disabled, neighbourhood associations, municipal autonomous institutions, and others. In the priority nomination "My Project for My City" dedicated to the Year of the Family, 61 projects were submitted. The competition commission received 51 projects in the priority nomination, 31 projects in the nomination "Perm – the Territory of Culture", 30 projects in the nomination "Perm the Sportive", 12 projects in the nomination "Perm of Volunteers", and 9 projects in the nomination "EcoPerm".

The commission also approved the composition of the expert groups. Now the experts will have to review the submitted projects, and at the end of March - to summarize the results and announce the winners.
