An exhibition of art works from Qingdao students was opened in the building of Perm City Administration

Its opening became a part of “Perm-Qingdao. Unity in colours” project.

The project was initiated by The Kabalevsky Children’s Art School and the Central Children’s Art School of PSIC (Perm State Institute of Culture) in cooperation with Qingdao art schools. Successfully started the project had been growing and gaining in popularity. In the frame of the project a virtual exhibition was placed at the partner institutions’ websites. Besides, local offline art exhibitions took place in Perm, Beijing and Qingdao. One of them was displayed in the building of Perm City Administration.

It should be noted that Perm and its twin city Qingdao have been actively cooperating in the sphere of culture for a long time. The beginning of 2024 was highlighted by opening of art exhibition in The Kabalevsky Children’s Art School in Perm. It was a part of the school’s collaborative art project “Perm-Qingdao. Unity in Colours”. The project has been developing together with Chinese colleagues since June 2023. As a part of the project a virtual exhibition at the partners’ sites was launched to celebrate the International Day for Protection of Children. The display contained 84 photographs of art works from Qingdao and Perm school students.
