Cultural institutions of Perm have become winners of the sociocultural projects competition "Art Residency" – 2026.

The projects received approval for their original concepts, creative execution, and potential contribution to the city's cultural development.
The Department of Culture and Youth Policy of the Perm Administration reported that the list of winners has been determined. These winners will implement their creative projects throughout the year with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Krai. Experts evaluated 36 creative works, and the jury selected ten winners of the "Art Residency" competition, including two projects developed by municipal cultural institutions of Perm.
The institution "PermConcert" was awarded for implementing the creative project "PRO ETHNO Festival."
Designed to promote ethnic performers and foster interethnic harmony, the festival was held in August 2025 as part of the project "Weekends on the Embankment. Zakamsk – the Place of Power."
Another notable project named “Palace of Culture: space for everyone” has come from the Kalinin Palace of Culture, which proposed creating inclusive spaces for adults with disabilities. Through partnerships with mental health centers, the palace organizes adapted workshops covering drawing ("Colors of Emotions"), singing ("Free Voice"), dancing ("Dancing Together"), sewing, and applied arts ("Handy Hands"). Additionally, beneficiaries enjoy complimentary access to theatre shows, concerts, and exhibitions hosted at the palace.
The organizer of the "Art Residency" competition is the Center for Implementing Cultural Projects, operating under the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory.
