Maslenitsa Fair opens on Perm Esplanade

Fair houses will remain open until February 23

Starting today, the annual Maslenitsa (Shrovetide) fair opened on the esplanade in Perm.

Through February 23, it will be available following these schedules: weekdays from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, weekends and holidays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Visitors can purchase traditional handcrafts, including pattern painted plates, spoons, kitchen shovels, woven items made from paper willow branches, wood products, different cutlery, ceramics, handmade toys, plaster sets for coloring, souvenirs featuring Perm symbols, birch bark crafts, and wooden decorations.

Additionally, knitted clothing and toys, hair accessories, jewelry, homemade soap, household textiles, and decorative items are available.

Locals and tourists will particularly enjoy the gastronomic delights including handmade chocolate, honey and bee products, chak-chak pastries, candies, kalina and cherry pies, gingerbread cookies, custom tea blends, and pinecone jam.
