The Mayor of Perm Eduard Sosnin Congratulates City Residents on Victory Day

Dear residents of Perm, veterans, and home-front workers!

Victory Day is forever in our hearts as a symbol of grim courage and love for our country. The feat of the victorious warriors and home-front workers who went through all the hardships of war will never be forgotten.

Victory came at a high price, and we do our best to preserve the memory of the heroism of veterans of the Great Patriotic War. We also pay great attention to the patriotic education of the younger generation: we conduct special “Courage Lessons” and meetings with veterans in schools, and launch the ‘Desks of the Hero’ initiative.

In the Year of Perm Industry we honouг the contribution of our city to the Great Victory. Our fellow citizens accomplished remarkable feats of labor, by chancing arms and working at machine tools, providing the front with everything necessary.

Dear veterans and homefront workers, I wish you good health and well-being. May you be happy and surrounded by the attention of your family and loved ones. We bow our heads to you in gratitude!
