Perm Footballers Win International Football Tournament in China

Nine teams from various Chinese cities, as well as young footballers from Perm, participated in the tournament. The Zvezda Sports School played eight matches, winning each one, taking the lead in the standings.

The event was held as part of the 20th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Perm and Qingdao. During the cultural and sports exchange and their stay in Qingdao, an extensive program was organized for the Perm footballers.

The players attended a Chinese Premier League match between Qingdao West Coast and Chengdu Rongcheng. They also played two friendly games, both of which they won decisively.

It should be noted that the visits are part of an agreement signed in 2024 to expand friendly ties and improve the football skills of athletes from a Perm school and Anzi Elementary School in Qingdao. Perm schoolchildren visited the school, where they participated in master classes on drawing Chinese characters, playing traditional instruments, and launching robots.

A return visit by students from Qingdao to the "Forest Fairytale" sports camp is expected next year.
