Journalists from national publications and representatives of the tourism industry visited Perm.

A press tour bringing together Russian tourism industry representatives and journalists from national media outlets took place in Perm. Guests explored the city’s cultural, historical, natural, and gastronomic diversity. The tour, designed to showcase the city's tourism potential and attract visitors from other regions, was jointly organized by the Perm city administration and regional authorities.

"We are continuing to actively put Perm on Russia's tourism map. Many guests describe our city as comfortable, convenient, and modern. Through this press tour, we are highlighting its strengths to a nationwide audience," noted Perm Mayor Eduard Sosnin on his MAX channel.

As part of the tour, participants visited sites associated with the "Green Ring" project—an initiative of Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin—including the nature trail in Razgulyay Park and the "Yegoshikha" visitor center, located in the valley of the river of the same name. There, they learned about the history of Yegoshikha as the site where Perm was founded, the structural features of river valleys, and the Permian geological period.

Guests also toured the "Weapons of Victory" exhibition at the Shpagin Factory socio-cultural space, explored the collections of the Perm Art Gallery, the "Konfektoriya" sweets museum, and the Perm Art Residency, and attended the opening of the ninth Perm Marathon.

Following the tour, national media outlets will publish photo reports, video content, and articles—both in print and online—detailing their impressions of Perm as a tourist destination and inviting others to visit the city.

Developing the tourism sector is a priority for the city authorities. The municipality actively collaborates with tour operators, develops new itineraries, and discusses promoting the city's tourism potential at Russian tourism events. Organizing a familiarization tour for journalists and bloggers is an annual event. It was first organized in 2022.
